                                                                      Let me tell you my story...

             A few years ago a friend of mine went through a traumatic abortion and chronic depression. It took time before she was able to talk about it. In a conversation she asked me, "How come you never get unwillingly pregnant and don΄t take contraceptives either?" I told her what I learned from a little book about naturally avoiding Unplanned Pregnancy (referred to from now on as UP) I read when I was 16. She had a hard time comprehending that it΄s EASY to avoid the problem everywhere, every time, without taking contraceptive drugs. "You read a book once that gave you the quality of life every girl I know would love to have. Now you should write a book and tell everyone what you know", she declared. The idea sounded interesting, but it wasn΄t "me" at the time. I had other important things to get on with and I left it there for the excuse that I haven΄t written a book before.

I moved from London, UK to Spain for the pleasant weather and the idea moved with me too, stronger than ever. It was on my mind literally every day. However, this time I didn΄t write a word because I was petrified by the possibility of offending pharmaceutical companies with my book. After all, I was going against their business interests...

... by telling people that all they need to use in order to avoid UP are natural methods and a desire to stay child free. I should quickly add that for avoiding Sexually Transmitted Diseases the only method I know is a condom, which is an absolute must in a first time relationship.

A friend of mine from London came to visit me in January 2007. I told him about the problem I was having with my persistent idea, but he didn΄t share my "worries". He simply said that I should write the book because there are many people out there that are going through a chain of problems related to UP, contraceptive drugs, along with nasty side effects thereof. For the first time in my life, at the age of 39, I was hearing about dangerous contraceptive drugs and their side effects. I realised that I was living in a blissful ignorance about what people were going through, which in my experience was easily avoidable! In fact less work than to boil an egg! I found that not only the person who takes contraceptive drugs suffers the consequences, but also people they get in contact with i.e. children, partners, colleagues or employers...

     "Pett's work seems very interesting. Certainly we should all be suspicious of the way drug companies operate. As corporations they are required by law to make profits. Thus their logical goal is to have as many people taking medicines regularly as possible. Cured patients don't make them money. Curing illnesses is thus very unlikely to be part of their genuine research.

Treating illness is the path of riches for them. Patients that need regular treatment are gold.

What better way to make money from healthy people than to ensure they take medicines when they don't need to"?

Your book is informative and right on the money. Teenagers, if properly educated and not pressured into falsities, tend to make good decisions and can be trusted more than what is believed. They should not be made to feel ashamed of their sexuality and therefore repress. Abstinence is best until the youths understand sexuality properly, lovingly. When they are ready to explore, then knowledge of how to properly protect themselves is necessary.

I attended the National Publicity Summit in NYC at the end of March 2008. I met up with 50 media producers, 80% of them were interested in what I have to say. Still in NYC I received an email from Lee Mitchell (he was one of the first music artists to support my cause), which moved me to tears. He wrote the official song of my campaign and wanted me to hear it. I LOVED it! You can hear it too right now by playing the video below.

Pett's book provides this and that is why I support her. I am a father of two teenage daughters.
People, and especially teens, that feel good about who they are, don't hurt other people or themselves. We see the big picture about the drug companies... and we know what repression and uneducation does...

My girls are a perfect example. I set them straight in a loving, knowledgeable way and both don't do drugs or sex. Sara (soon 20) waited until she was exactly 18 but is careful not to compromise her future (in college with 2 jobs). Emily is 16 and sex is totally out of the question until she is ready (her choice).

Proper education deals with honesty, proper knowledge and being real in a world that is filling fast with uneducated children. Let's truly give them a chance at a good life by educating them properly and most of all, truly loving them and understanding them".

More and more songs were hitting my mail box, but I couldn΄t play them on my personal page. I created Virtual Gigs΄ page on 12 April 2008. This is how the band was born and the idea about touring the world, spreading the word for the next 10 years starting in 2009.

Your first reaction may be that UP doesn΄t concern you.

If you are a man you may say, "There΄s no chance for me to get pregnant any time soon." However, I΄m sure many of you guys can relate to the statement, "I was trapped in a relationship by UP." If not that your girlfriend may have started to take contraceptive drugs...

...and now she suffers their side effects. She probably has headaches, bleeds, had put on a weight or grew hear where there wasn΄t any before. She may be depressed and doesn΄t feel like making love to you or giving you a kiss as often as before and you miss her dearly. However, figures show that the United States has the highest rate of teenage UP in the entire developed world. As the UK is #1 in Europe. Not all children born to teen mothers grow up with them. I decided to write the book and it was done in just a month. I published it in English and Spanish in May 2007, but I didn΄t do anything to promote it until January 2008. I felt the same compelling nudge to act at that time but I had no idea what to do. I was subscribed to an Internet Marketer΄s newsletter and in one of them he was discussing social networks. About that time I received another email from a friend who sent me a link to a Daily Mail publication about our UK Health Minister Lord Darzi΄s decision to introduce contraceptive drugs for FREE to girls under 16-years old.

That made my decision to join a social network easy. I thought that our Health Minister΄s decision made some brilliant business sense. However, it seems to be complete nonsense as far as the health of our country΄s future generation is concerned.

On Abortion Info Net website we read:

· Recent evidence indicates many women harbour strong guilt feelings long after their abortions. Guilt is one important cause of child battering and infanticide. Abortion lowers women's self-esteem and there are studies reporting a major loss of self-esteem in battering parents.

· Abortion hasn't helped couples. Researcher Emily Milling studied over 400 couples with women who had made a decision to have an abortion. 70% of the relationships ended within one month of the abortion.

· Abortion hasn't prevented children from being born into poverty. Since Roe v. Wade, the number of children relying on AFDC (Aid to Families with Dependent Children) has risen from 8.5 per cent (of all children) in 1970 to 11.9 per cent in 1990. The number of children living in poverty has increased, from 15.1 per cent (of all children) in 1970 to 20.6 per cent in 1990.
· Abortion has increased the number of single-parent families. Since Roe v. Wade, the number of births to unmarried women has increased, from 10.7 per cent (of all births) in 1970, to 28.0 per cent in 1990.
· Abortion has increased the number of unwanted pregnancies. Since Roe v. Wade, the number of pregnancies ending in abortion has increased, from 12.9 per cent (of total pregnancies) in 1972, to 24.6 per cent in 1990.

Abortion: WARNING
This four-minute video is not pleasant, but it must be seen. Thousands of innocent unborn children are torn to pieces everyday in the U.S. because most people simply don't know what abortion actually does. This video is shocking because abortion is shocking. It is no more gruesome than the reality. With the exception of the final scene (a second-trimester fetus), all of the video you will see depicts children who were killed during first-trimester abortions.

There is NOT a single valid reason why we should go through all that in the 21^st Century.

Back in 1970s books like The Population Bomb by Paul Ehrlich΄s warned that the Earth was reaching the end of its carrying capacity, and that within decades, hundreds of millions of people would starve to death.

The director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Gen. Michael Hayden recently describes in a speech at Kansas State University that what he saw as the most troublesome trend over the next several decades, it wasn΄t terrorism or climate change. It was overpopulation in the poorest parts of the world. Hayden said. "Most of that growth will occur in countries least able to sustain it." The sheer increase in population, Hayden argued, could fuel instability and extremism, making food and fuel all the more scarce.

The only way to avoid this Malthusian fate was rigid population control, which many environmentalists are in favour of.

"Environmentalists came to realize how complicated and sensitive this issue was," says Robert Engleman, vice-president for programs at the Worldwatch Institute, and the author of the new book More: Population, Nature and What Women Want. The population is rising in much of the developed world - and for that matter, in the United States. "You really can΄t talk about the supply and demand imbalance that is sending energy and food prices up without acknowledging that we are adding 78 million people each year, the equivalent of a new Idaho every week," says Engleman.
